*notices are posted across the Empire, as well as word being sent directly to those who have aided him before*
The people of Stonehaven require the assistance of stalwart mercenaries once again. The protections we had enacted for the populace of our town have been sundered, and we are once again vulnerable to attack. Arrangements have been made to reinstate these protections as swiftly as possible, but to accomplish this we will need the assistance of mercenaries again. The standard pay of 3,000 grulls is on offer, and the necessary hiring license obtained. Should there be any that our house still holds a debt to, this will be reflected in the payment offered being doubled. It should be stated that mercenaries who can tolerate undeath, and who are not overly afraid of temporal magic, would be most suited to the tasks that await. I will await you at the Stonehaven Arms, our villages fine tavern, on the 25th day of this month. Jeremiah Stonehaven |

To mercenaries that may be interested in helping Stonehaven
I am not completely sure but I think a group I travelled with sundered these protections. They were from a very powerful undead creature who wants to turn all Primus to undeath (and worth noting they killed a lot of locals and raised them all as intelligent undead) So before you go about restoring the protections, I would check on this person's motivation (is he an undead for instance?) and think carefully about whether you want to support this or not I might be wrong but worth checking Malaki |

Our protections were placed by a chronomancer in our employ named Valkarian, and with the assistance of mercenaries legally hired for this purpose. No protections were placed by this undead creature you speak of, I know nothing of this being. These ritual protections were...borrowed by a mercenary named Tangle when he visited our town, and I am informed have now been used to aid the city of Deci. I have no problem with this, and indeed we have been in contact with this Tangle to make mutually beneficial arrangements for his city and our town. We do have a number of undead within our populace, but we are all loyal citizens of the Empire and have absolutely no intent or interest in anything like what you claim. Please be careful before slandering my family name again with your unfounded and more importantly untrue accusations. And for the record I am very much alive. Jeremiah Stonehaven, noble of the blood and lord of Stonehaven. |

Malaki, i have travelled to Stonehaven a few times and have written what i can about what i have seen. If i may be so bold as to ask if you could perhaps read through what has been written and add what you saw. There is much at play here.

I believe the confusion has occoured form the fact that there was an entity we met that openly expressed his desire to turn all of primus into undead while working for you. He had come from another plane and had already succeeded in creating a ritual that turned an ork tribe near you into powerly rank 7 and above undead. He didnt though seem to have any connection with your town bar perhaps wishing to turn more of your citizens into undead.
We did however partly remove those protections because they were aligning the halls of time to primus, something which could be incredibly dangerous if used by the wrong or simply an untrained individual Hariq bin Kal Elemental lord of fire -------------------- Dan Hunt

I shall come and see what help I can lend to this.
Having picked up my kit, I notice I have been issued with a fire blade scroll, I cant read this, but it seems likely it will be needed. Do we have a wizard, who could read it, or even just cast that spell. Henry 101st |

I can read it and might be able to cast it all depends on the date we're meeting and which me will be there.
