A change in Direction Options

To the Lord Knight,

I understand that we are predominantly a martial order but I feel like most of the problems facing the Mercenary community come from their unwillingness to view violence as a last resort.

Certainly on my home world we had a warrior caste who were bound to fight for the good of the rest of us and defend us as best they could but still our world was laid to waste and we are here watching the same mistakes happen all over again on Primus every day. Every defeat of a force of Darkness by martial means is one more step to being no better than those we oppose.

The decree of Night and Day itself generates a new threat each time you defeat one - opening some long forgotten path to Primus for some creeping evil... if we just made peace with those already here and educated them in the error of their ways we would stop this endless meat grinder of violence.

I propose a change of tack within the Knights - we forsake violence making it as a last resort, to do this at least on a trial basis we could forsake the use of weapons entirely.

I eagerly await your thoughts.
