So after another successful batch of Tuesday Club dungeons we will be looking to get the next lot booked for the next few months.
As the last few have been all fairly busy I am going to suggest we go back to once a fortnight for a while, and if numbers dwindle then we drop back down to once a month, but hopefully enough keen for fortnightly.

What levels do people fancy? All currently just been max 1k, and we wont go hire then max 1500. Could keep as that or build up from a 750 upwards over a number of them? Scout guild themed ones would seem popular after the last few!

Happy to take ideas over next few days before booking them in

some class type specific ones would be good. Give the casters a chance to survive what can sometimes be a warrior lead hack n slash.

I think it might also be fun for the tuesday events to be some form of campaign/world plot rather than stand alone dungeons.

Pending approval,

I would love to have a go at reffing some of these, they are the perfect points range for me.

Cheers,

- Nick.

In order to be aproved to ref, you need to prove you're a capable and reliable aref. And most importantly turn up when you say you are going to.
There is also a free national rail app to advise of train issues in advance.

Totally understood Fi,

I was unfortunately suffering neuronic death (bad migraines) over the weekend, so could not make it, just about feeling better now.

That's why I wrote pending approval. I understand the need for professionalism, presentation and reliability.

I'm hoping my own individual style of writing and DM'ing will bring something new to the system in time.

Thank you,

- Nick.

Sorry you were sick and glad you're feeling better, but the number of times you have booked and had last minute issues sort of mean that you need to prove you're going to show and can be relied on before that opportunity can be considered, Lee was going to show you the modern aref standard on Saturday given the number of posts you have recently put up regarding wanting to ref and your feeling that no-one was helping you.
Hey ho maybe sometime soon.

Thank you,

I understand, reffing is important for the club. The foundation of a good Dungeons and Dragons game needs a good DM, as much as it does players and roleplay.

Apologies for giving you that impression, I understand everyone is busy, I'm patient enough to wait, it's enthusiasm not anything else.

Give my thanks to Lee, considering the wealth of things he has to deal with, I appreciate the help.

Yup, of course, I have to turn up if I'm going to ref or a-ref.

Please do not think I am not grateful for the consideration, or opportunity.

Hopefully, I will not suffer neuronic death / migraines any time soon. :]

Appreciated,

- Nick.

Laby never has and never will be identical to tabletop, just saying.

Yes, of course. :]

Back to the original thread...

Very keen to play a 300ish hundred point character, so would be nice to have a max 500 or two Tuesday dungeons.

I like the idea of linked dungeons and a common ref. I am tempted to offer to ref, but life is just a bit in flux at the moment, so cannot make the commitment. But perhaps a few themed sessions would work too... there may be some good plot angles ahead of the Final Dawn, and something lower characters can participate in is good (given the Max 10k "mid" section of the 3d..).

And the Tuesday format seems to work well, with full players and often a full crew.... so more please!!!

The Tuesday dungeons are up for the rest of the year, we need some volunteers to ref them. Past experience shows a ref being booked makes players and monsters much more likely to book on, so please do consider taking a turn reffing or crewing them
Details as follows:

7th November - Max 1k - Reffed by Will P
21st November - Max 1.5k - Needs a ref
5th December - Max 1k - Needs a ref
19th December - Max 1.5K - Needs a ref

We are hoping there is enough interest to keep running these every 2 weeks in the new year but will see how we do for numbers before confirming.

I would like to write dungeons for Tuesdays - not really up for refing for obvious reasons.
Who do I submit them too for feedback and approval?

Posted by: RichFromant Nov 7 2017, 11:24 AM

You are welcome to email them to me, I will have a read and give some feed back when time allows

So the next Tuesday Club is on the 5th December, it currently has 8 players booked but no ref or crew.
Does anyone fancy booking to ref it?

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Rich for last night's dungeon. Tough and fun - big thanks to Ed, Matt, Tim and Dave too (and anyone else I missed) - really challenging and enjoyable. Looking forward to the next installment - hopefully someone will be able to ref. I'm reffing the 19th which should have a fainly Christmassy theme - though will still be a proper dungeon (not Xmas special)

thanks all

Giles.

I am booked as a player currently.

Will be working in the City once again from seemingly Thursday 30th but until I get started I won't know how possible Tuesday club will be.

If it all lines up then certainly be happy to ref from time to time smile.gif
