A hardy swarm of Ratfolk slew the nightmarish demon known as the Rat Catcher! The Rat Catcher tales were used to scare young Ratfolk when they had been naughty, as he would sneak in the shadows before stealing them away at night and they would never be seen again! No one had seen the fiendish creature before but many a Ratfolk child had had a sleepless night about it.

Whilst searching the site of an old battleground, out of the darkness came the Rat Catcher with his barking hounds! But these were no small ratfolk children but brave mercenaries. The hunter became the hunted as the rites binding the demon were broken and he was cut to pieces! Ratfolk could now sleep soundly and without fear from now on!
