Is there a good colour scheme I should be aiming for when putting together my outfit (should I have said "costume" there?) as an Elbereth warrior priest? I'm new... and I would hate to wear the colours of a rival church by mistake
Thanks! Nerissa |

Hey Nerissa,
The colours of Elbereth are pretty individual. Most people go for blue/black/white, however there are people who have red and black, green and black, or blue and brown (this is just thinking off the top of my head). Really it is about doing whatever suits your character and what feels right to you. And costume or outfit are both perfectly fine, I think most of us use costume, but it really doesn't matter all that much. I'm new... and I would hate to wear the colours of a rival church by mistake Thanks! Nerissa Colours vary a lot. An eight pointed star is a common symbol however (with the vertical and horizontal points longer than the four diagonal ones) Most common is probably a white star on a black tabard, but as Andie says you can go with pretty much anything. Only one I'd avoid is a black star on a red tabard as some of the characters that wear it ascribe a particular meaning to it relating to the Elbereth campaign that Lee ran for many years. I wear greens & browns as a Far Ranger Archer.... but as Julian says... the 8 pointed star is the common factor.
Blue/black with a white/silver/grey star are the most common generally. Tim. |

Yay! The one-armed bandit strikes again! Neil said you'd been back, hope our paths cross again before too long.
I love Kev's green on red, as he looks all Christmassy. I'm not sure followers of Elbereth celebrate Christmas, but it makes me smile nonetheless. |

Worth being a bit careful with green star on red tabbard as it has a specific meaning in Lee's campaign. The specific meaning being "I am a crazy angel from the future and I want to kill Nexus".
Or, in a few people's cases, "I bonded and had emo chats with the crazy angels from the future, they're just misunderstood really." Matt |

Or I'm a crazy angel from the present, who has taken on the challenge to kill Nex. And who only needs another 10,000 points to be able to do it...

Nah, loads of us agreed to kill Aurora (not Nexus, you muppets - it was a bit mean as he was only about 3 rooms away). It was the first time in ages the church has agreed on something that didn't involve beer
Christine Who has not one but two crazy future angel tabards. Extra crazy |
