I've taken the last spot. I'm not sure at all what to play... and it might turn out to be something 8th+75 if nothing else suits... options below:
1) ~2k Mirrorfolk (needs a guest slot - broadly my preferred option) - has neuronic empathic healing, and some power-transfer style stuff, so provided we can disable things I can heal people from them (though not that fast), give people mana back & move spells between people (a bit) and so on. Has neuronic wall, which given lack of warriors looks like it might be handy. 2) ~7k Ggrutuck (again needs a guest slot) - can fight a lot, but not so much without any healing and can't drink potions. There also seems to already be an abundance of brown. 3) ~500pt Faerie Red/Brown Wizard - is not the most party constructive character in the world and there's a lot of red/brown already in the party, but is in the relevant guilds. This is sort of my least preferred option. 4) Something entirely new. Huw |

Awooga...that was quick...just went from 0 to 4 monsters in a day! According to the spreadsheet, our contenders are: 1) Dan M - Grey/Ebony Wiz ~ 2.5k 2) Kirstry - Red/Blue Scout/Wiz ~ 1k 3) Andy W - Brown Wiz ~ 6k 4) Paul D - Brown Gnome Wiz ~ 3k 5) Sonof ~ Sorcerer ~ 4k 6) Fi - Brown/Silver Wiz ~ 3k 7) BBB - Grey/Black Wiz/Scout ~ 7k 8) Bruno - Rogue ~ 5k 9) CC - Red Wiz ~ 8k 10) Lilley - Ebony Wiz ~ 1k 11) Easton - White Wiz ~ 2.5k On my 1st whistle... I've yet to decide what to play front runners are Anath and Yvanderriel a 7k High Wizard or 3k 2nd rank Warrior. We could probably do with a Warrior - ultimately what I play could be seriously influenced by whether I can arrange a lift to the caves. Anath requires lots of kit, Yvanderriel very little, making the latter a better choice for public transport! And, looking at that list, why do I get the feeling that having a spirit could be somewhat of a liability And where's our friendly Druid that we always bring along for standing at the front and healing us? Fromant?!?!? BBB -------------------- Grey's Law: Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice...
PS, Yes, I know my PM Box is full. Email me instead... (Which you can do through the forums email) |

I'm Red, Blue AND black... with more than likely some level 4 gold drave innates as well.
Anyone other elves who are 2nd tier C.O.D? I've got loads of lembas if need be... -------------------- If you need anything de-trapping... call the Marchants...

That and i had my shifts taken away in the druid nerfage, and didn't want to be left standing in the breif as you all teleport off :-) Cant let the cavie rumour mill down with character spend flaws like that! -------------------- Rich

Bah - There are a reasonable number of treaded bandages and 12 pts coming from the guild stores...
Just get to me before Lee's character does. Seriously everyone is welcome to them. -------------------- Fi

If I wasn't busy I'd buy water-port and help you points whore more - we need to show a strong face after the nerf, if we pretend we're tough still people might even believe it! Chris |

Flanners spreadsheet obviously has a virus in it's macros either that or he has started inputting a hype value rather than actual points.

Ahhh, but he IS the boss - therefore the primary target
Plus I think he's going to try to disguise himself as a Mummy .... although why eludes me Dave |

Is it that awful that I really shouldn't confirm the fact for myself? BBB Stand away from that film for at least a good 50 yards and then drop a bomb on it to make it safe, after said mushroom cloud has vanished then it maybe safe to go near it but make sure you drink lots of beer to reduce you sight to a blur. Thats how bad it is. Iain |
